Who You Are:

As the Director of Partnerships at Stay, you will report directly to our CEO, Gina Perrelli. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with our goals. You will identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with key partners, to drive business growth, expand our market reach, and enhance our product offerings.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will identify potential partnership opportunities that align with Stay’s goals and develop the partnership roadmap

  • You will lead negotiations and manage the partnership contract process

  • You will maintain strong relationships with our partners and you know exactly how to build long term partnerships

  • You have experience with scale and how we can acquire new partnerships

  • Use data to validate your insights. You understand the market, do thorough research, and have strong opinions about partnership strategies for Stay

  • You set concrete goals and KPIs for the partnerships team and are iterating to make improvements

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a senior partnership or business development role, ideally within a fast-paced SaaS company and in a high-growth startup environment

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Shopify ecosystem

  • Strategic, creative, and have strong analytical skills

  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling partnership programs that have significantly contributed to revenue growth and market expansion.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

  • The ability to work individually (and remotely) and collaborate within a team environment to achieve your goals

  • You are adaptable to change and have comfort with ambiguity at an early stage startup
