The Director of IT will be responsible for all aspects of IT for a 270+ person robotics startup. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Director of IT will lead a team that will manage IT equipment at all Dexterity offices & labs and provide services to both technical and non-technical users.

Day to Day ActivitiesManage all IT infrastructure (Network, Compute, Telecom, IDM, VPN) for all office facilities and labsLifecycle management and support of employee devices (Windows, Mac, Linux, mobile)Manage ISP, Network and Phone vendor relationships Manage Software licensing and user managementManage a small team of employees, provide mentorship and guidanceImplement best practices in Security, High Availability and Business ContinuityWorking with external/offshore contractors for equipment and access Assess system performance and costs on an ongoing basis and constantly implement improvementsImplement and manage AV equipment in conference rooms and demo stationsWork with HR, Facilities, Finance and Product Development to improve internal processes and efficiency
Desired Experience and SkillsDegree in Computer Science or related field10+ years of relevant Industry experienceDemonstrated technical experience with all of the above activitiesPrevious experience owning all of IT or a significant portion of IT Experience with AD, Okta and Google Workspace Startup experience desiredExcellent written and verbal communications skillsVery good organizational skills and attention to detailService mindset
Base pay is one element of our Total Rewards package which may also include comprehensive benefits and equity etc., depending on eligibility. The annual base salary range for this position is from $175,000 to $230,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as years of relevant experience, skills, education etc. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
