Job Description:   
The Director of HW Program Management will be responsible for driving the product life cycle processes including developing, executing, and monitoring the engineering development program, with a strong emphasis on project risk assessment, mitigation, and stakeholder communication management. The incumbent will 
  • Partner with key HW/System/Operations leaders in engineering to create and maintain a detailed execution dashboard to help tightly control and manage various engineering programs. 
  • Develop and maintain a dashboard covering all aspects of product development: Silicon, System engineering & operations. 
  • Partner with leaders of architecture and silicon engineering teams to create granular milestones covering architecture, design, verification, backend/PD, post silicon and track performance to plan. 
  • Partner with SW program management and Machine Learning Accelerator and SoC SW leaders on HW/Systems interactions. 
  • Partner with Silicon and System leaders to develop metrics to track HW/SW validation and integrate them into the dashboard. 
  • Partner with platform engineering and operations leaders to develop and track milestones. 
  • Drive periodic HW program reviews and monthly executive engineering program reviews, own engineering execution tracker for BoD updates.
  • Highly Desirable - Experience driving automotive programs.
  • Develop, implement, and report program status/KPIs/metrics for measuring program effectiveness and improvement areas.
  Requirements:  
  • Bachelor’s in engineering.
  • 15+ years of industry experience developing complex HW/SW platforms with at least 5 years of HW or SW engineering management or program management experience.
  • Experience working in small sized engineering companies/startup environments. 
  • Experience managing programs that involve complex silicon development.
  • Experience developing AI/ML products.
  • Experience with automotive products
  • Knowledge in technical program management methodologies and processes and experience in executing (as PM) engineering programs from concept to completion.
  • Experience with end to end product delivery including detailed schedules, resource maps, key milestones, critical paths, risk assessment and developing mitigation plans.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and multi-site teams.
  • Ability to abstract complex technical information and present to executive audience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication and presentation skills

    The annual salary for this position ranges from $240,000 - $305,000. The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, qualifications, expertise, work location, total target compensation, training, company needs, and current market demands. The annual salary range for this position is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future.
