The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is a global leader in financial market infrastructure, with a large and diverse portfolio of data, products and services. LSEG's Analytics organization is rapidly adopting GenerativeAI and similar transformative technologies to build intuitive solutions that access the wealth of information in our documentation, datasets and APIs.

We’re building a brand-new organization to deliver on this promise, and we're looking for a leader to own the data science and machine learning components of that transformation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Hire and develop diverse and impactful data science teams, providing technical oversight and best practice training
  • Provide technical mentorship and support while letting your team make key decisions and learn from their mistakes
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define and iteratively deliver roadmaps
  • Build a collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years shipping machine learning models, ideally over the full product development lifecycle
  • At least 2 years leading data science/machine learning teams
