The ASA Data Science team is hiring a Data Science Director to lead a team focused on uncovering insights to drive better business decisions and customer experiences across our product portfolio.

Build and lead a world-class Data Science function that harnesses the power of data to inform Go-To-Market and Product Strategy.
Set the vision for Data Science and manage the execution with the highest standards.
Collaborate with team members across product, engineering, marketing, operations, and more!
Use advanced analytics including clustering, propensity modeling, statistical knowledge, and other explanatory and causal inference techniques to gain a clearer picture of customer behavior.
Translate analytical findings to resonate with industry partners to enable our next phase of growth.
Build compelling data stories and visualizations to influence partners across the organization and beyond.
You are ready to bring a data and analytics mindset to transform what it means to unlock the ability for consumers to dream, search, and find a home. You have an appreciation of the unique challenges posed by business-to-business product development and go-to-market.
Qualifications
An undergraduate or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, engineering, statistics, finance, or similar)
15+ years of work experience involving quantitative data analysis and complex problem solving. Experience working with product teams strongly preferred.
5+ years leading Data Science teams.
A strong understanding of statistical concepts, measurement issues, and inference techniques.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and either Python or R, along with some experience with Tableau, Mode, or other visualization software.
Experience with ETL pipelines, scheduling and production data modeling is a plus.
Experience with A/B Testing, Experimentation, or Causal Inference
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Experience with building a Data Science organization in a B2B landscape
