As the Area Lead for Data Engineering within our Supply Chain & Enterprise division, you will have considerable influence across the entire organization. Your role will be central to our company-wide programs, directly impacting a key area of H&M. You will engage with a multitude of stakeholders, fostering strong relationships that are the cornerstone of our collaborative culture. Your goal is to embody the principles of servant leadership, where a significant portion of your role will be dedicated to people management. The supply chain is the heart of H&M, and your leadership will ensure its rhythm is strong and steady.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define the strategic direction, aligning it with business goals and customer needs
Define high level KPIs and targets for the area
Driving program enhancements and optimizing delivery outcomes
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
At least 8 years of experience within Data Engineering or similar areas
A background in supply chain is highly beneficial
Proven experience in leadership roles within data engineering. Preferably experience in leading managers.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
Familiarity with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure) and data warehousing solutions
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
