Job Description:

We are seeking a Director, AI & Data Services Segment Leader, who will be responsible for an A&PS business area of "AI & Data Services", from orders, revenue, profit, business growth and customer satisfaction perspective. The A&PS Segment Lead plays a critical role in driving HPE’s success by ensuring that the Segment Area delivers exceptional technology services and solutions that meet customer needs, foster innovation and contribute to HPE’s reputation as a leader in the industry. This is a global and hybrid role, working 2-3 days per week from an HPE office. 

Leadership & Strategy:

Set and drive the vision, purpose and strategy for the Segment Area, considering market trends, customer needs and business goals. Define goals and targets for the Segment Area’s growth, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction.

Performance Metrics:

Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to the Segment Area’s growth, financial performance (orders, revenue, margins), and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

Lead a team of professionals, including consultants, experts, and project managers, within the Segment Area. Provide guidance, mentorship and coaching to team members to ensure their professional growth and development. Promote inclusivity and diversity.

Collaboration:

Create a framework for collaboration – within the Segment Area / A&PS, with BUs / Geos, pan-HPE. Collaborate and co-create with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to align the Segment Area’s offerings with the overall company strategy.

Solution Relevance:

Prioritize and develop profitable, scalable and repeatable solution offerings that address customer challenges and provide value.

Customer Engagement:

Engage with customers to understand their needs, challenges and goals, and propose tailored solutions based on the Segment Area’s expertise. Maintain strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of customer projects within the Segment Area. Conduct regular reviews of project outcomes and customer satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.

Thought Leadership:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements and best practices related to the Segment Area. Share insights and expertise through thought leadership activities such as blog posts, webinars and speaking engagements.

Education and Experience:

  • 15+ years’ experience in the tech industry, consulting/professional services.
  • Master’s Degree preferred. 
  • Data or AI experience preferred.
  • P&L ownership experience a plus.
