We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer specialising in DevOps to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about automating and optimizing operations processes, has a strong background in software development, and is proficient in cloud technologies, specifically AWS. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain applications with an emphasis on system health, performance, and scalability.
  

• Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for a variety of projects.
  

• Manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  

• Create and maintain environments using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  

• Adhere to coding guidelines and best practices to ensure high-quality code.
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  

• Participate in code reviews, contributing to the team’s growth and ensuring coding standards.
  

• Monitor and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure, providing solutions to optimize performance.
  

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and introduce improvements to existing systems.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java).
  

• Strong understanding of AWS services and experience managing cloud infrastructure.
  

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
  

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  

• Solid understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
  

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  

• 1-3 years of experience in IT administration, system administration, or a similar role.
  

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  

• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
  

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are plus.
