Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 3 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.) or similar.
• 3 years of experience in AI.

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as a technical practitioner in a developer community.

Part community manager and part developer advocate, Developer Programs Engineers collaborate with developers at conferences and online, and advocate for developers interests internally at Google. Not afraid to be hands-on, you write sample code and client libraries as well as participate in developer forums and support queues to troubleshoot and debug coding problems developers encounter. Internally, you work with product engineering teams improve our products by conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs and testing new features. The Cloud Developer Relations team consists of experts from a wide range of technology roles including Software Engineers, Data Scientists and Engineers, ML Scientists, System Administrators (DevOps), SREs, Cloud Native Engineers/Ops, etc. who combine their domain expertise with a strong desire to help Google Cloud build products and solutions that are critical to their own communities and that solve their problems in simple, scalable and innovative ways.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
