As a Data Scientist (w/m/d) at HeyJobs, you will develop marketing steering models, which will help our Talent Marketing to attract talents to the job offers of our clients. 

This role offers an exciting mix of developing data science models and running model performance analytics to fine-tune and calibrate our steering engine.

🎯 How you can contribute to HeyJobs

  • Design and development of marketing optimization models for our in-house marketing steering engine. 

  • Active optimization and calibration of the marketing steering engine 

  • Contribute full-stack, on the full lifecycle from conception to production

  • Run data exploration and  experiments for feature discovery

  • Design metrics to track business outcomes and diagnostics for tracking model performance

  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, analysts and our marketing stakeholders

  • Work with languages and technologies like Python (pandas, scikit, PyTorch, Jupyter), Airflow, AWS (Redshift/Sagemaker), dbt, SQL

🤝 What sets you up for success

  • Academic degree (Masters or PhD) in an analytical field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, economics, logistics, data science, computer science, engineering or similar)

  • 3-5 years of practical experience in conceptualizing and implementation of data science models. 

  • Proficient in Python for Data Science and understanding  the best-practices for data engineering (SQL, dbt, CI/CD, Git)

  • Having fun diving into problems with an unknown solution path 

  • Good communication skills and ability to break down aspects of data science into stakeholder friendly explainers

Bonus Skills:

  • First experience using in MLOps 

  • Background in Performance Marketing is helpful

  • Core understanding of data product management

  • Fluency in German
