Drive data excellence
Shape the future of defence decision support in this hands-on Data Scientist role. Work on a broad spectrum of tasks, including data analyses, model development, collaboration with MLOps, deployment and performance monitoring in production. As a key player in advancing SitaWare Insight, you will contribute to new releases every half-year, introducing novel capabilities, bug fixes and overall product enhancements.

  • Collaborating with MLOps for the seamless integration of models 
  • Monitoring model performance in a dynamic production environment
  • Contributing to the growth, improvement and maintenance of SitaWare Insight

 
Proficient data expert
You are passionate about transforming data into actionable insights, and bring the following to the role: 

  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist 
  • Minimum of a Master’s or PhD in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, statistics, data science)
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing machine learning models
  • Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch
  • Proficiency in data preprocessing and feature engineering
  • Database knowledge for effective data management
  • Computer science skills supporting the overall development of the data science service
  • Solid understanding of model evaluation, documentation, visualisation of data-driven solutions and development best-practices
  • Appreciate teamwork and sparring with colleagues
  • Great communication skills
  • Proficient in English
