Seismic Aura, our leading AI engine, is powering this change in the sales enablement space and is being infused across the Seismic enablement cloud. Our focus is to leverage AI across the Seismic platform to make our customers more productive and efficient in their day-to-day tasks, and to drive more successful sales outcomes. 

Position Overview: 

As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing AI-driven data science solutions that power AI applications across Seismic, including search, content discovery, knowledge management and meeting experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance models that deliver exceptional value to our customers. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a impact on our company's growth and success by contributing to the technical excellence and innovation of our AI and data science initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Data Science Development: Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven data science solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. 

• Machine Learning Models: Implement and optimize machine learning models for search and AI-driven algorithms, indexing, and information retrieval techniques to enhance search accuracy and efficiency. 

• Integration: Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and software engineers to integrate AI-driven search capabilities across the Seismic platform. 

• Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize model performance, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring low-latency responses. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, including product managers, engineers, and UX designers, to deliver seamless and intuitive AI-driven experiences. 

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI and data science technologies, conducting research and experimentation to drive innovation. 

Qualifications: 

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in data science and AI, with a proven track record of building and scaling machine learning applications.  

• Technical Expertise: Understanding of wide range of technologies in AI, Generative AI, data science, Computer vision, NLP, Python libraries, ML cloud services, and data tools. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. Strong knowledge of Python and proficiency in using data manipulation libraries such as Pandas. Experience with LLMs (Azure, Google, OpenAI etc.), Azure AI, huggingface, and open-source models. 

• Cloud Expertise: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of cloud-native services for AI/ML, data storage, and processing. Experience deploying models into production environments is a plus. 

• Product Development: Experience in collaborating with product management and design, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive successful delivery. Proven record of driving feature development from concept to launch. 

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Fast-paced Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
