Full TimeJoin Circula as our first Data Scientist and become a key member of our dedicated AI & Automation team, working across Product and Engineering to drive innovation through smart, scalable solutions. You’ll lay the foundation for how AI is built and used across our product and teams — shaping both our technical approach and our company-wide mindset. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll actively contribute to the product and influence Circula’s long-term AI strategy from day one.

Own the full AI lifecycle. You take ownership of the AI lifecycle — from opportunity to production and continuous improvement. You prototype, test, and iterate quickly. You’ll have the autonomy to evaluate the problem space and choose the right solution to get the job done.
Deliver intelligent product features that feel like magic. You design and ship AI-features that simplify expense handling, eliminate manual work, and create those “magic moments” for our users. With a wealth of product data at your fingertips, you'll turn untapped signals into smart, customer-facing solutions.
Make Circula AI-first. You lead our transition into an AI-first company by embedding intelligence into user flows across our product. You help teams adopt an AI-native mindset by fostering a culture of experimentation, fast learning, and smart automation.
Partner across the business. You work closely with product, engineering, design, and leadership to shape our AI strategy and turn real-world user problems into intelligent, validated solutions.
Technical Expertise. You have min. 4-5 years of experience as Data Scientist or ML Engineer. You’re proficient in Python and SQL, with a deep understanding of AI technologies — from foundational ML to LLMs.
Production Experience. You’ve deployed and maintained models in production and are confident working with MLOps tools and practices.
Experimentation Mindset. You know how to design, run, and evaluate experiments to measure real-world model and product impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration. You’ve successfully worked with product, engineering, and design teams to deliver AI-powered features.
Product-Led Thinking. You thrive in fast-paced, product-led environments; experience in B2B SaaS or fintech is a plus.
Ownership & Drive. You’re proactive, entrepreneurial, and take full initiative — pushing ideas from concept to execution.
Curious & Clear. You stay up to date with the latest in AI, communicate complex ideas simply, and collaborate effectively across teams.
