We are strengthening our team in the area of DIGITAL DATA SOLUTION (TDGD) at our location in Friedrichshafen.  

Your tasks as Data Scientist / Data Manager in R&D (m/f/d):

• Define and manage digital data products based on product and operation data collected, processed, and managed within the product data platform.
• Analyze national and international market and customer needs, as well as competitive offerings, with a focus on Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance services.
• Define the digital product strategy, business model, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the business models of the hardware and systems product lines.
• Establish product requirements and roadmaps by aligning customer needs with product development (R&D, Product Owners), focusing on functionality, scope, timing, delivery, and quality.
• Develop and execute go-to-market and sales strategies in collaboration with the sales department, supporting sales activities and preparing marketing presentations

Your profile as Data Scientist / Data Manager (m/f/d): 

• University degree in business management, vehicle technology, IT, electrical or mechanical engineering or a similar qualification with profound experience in automotive data processing and software application 
• Multiple years of business experience in an automotive service sales or customer facing position 
• Experience in business development and service pricing 
• Excellent team, communication, motivation and networking skills 
• Experience in management of international functional and virtual teams 
• Excellent manners towards customers, suppliers, partners, supervisors and employees  
• Strong intercultural competency and ability to travel 
• Language skills: English and German are mandatory, other languages are beneficial

Claim for payment: Up to EG 15 (Serviceingenieur/-in Produktbewährung) IG Metall Baden-Württemberg, depending on the fulfillment of the above tasks. The basic salary entitlement is determined based on the individual's previous knowledge.

The position can be filled either as a full-time position or, in accordance with TzBfG §7, with two part-time employees.
