As a Data Scientist Associate within the Data and Analytics team, you will enhance productivity and efficiency by providing business intelligence and analysis related to programs that improve the developer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into data-driven solutions.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in the product development life cycle.
  • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast product performance.
  • Design experiments to test hypotheses and validate model outcomes.
  • Create dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data science.
  • Mentor data scientists and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data science or analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and learning aptitude.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and proficiency in Atlassian tools like Jira.
  • Familiarity with analytics engineering tools like dbt and Airflow.
  • Understanding of DevEx metrics and software deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with ThoughtSpot or similar data visualization tools and familiarity with AI technologies and POC development.
