This job description is for a position at Asset Impact (AI), an impact-driven climate start-up that has been part of GRESB since 2022.
We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our team who loves to work with complex data sources and build robust, state-of-the-art models. This person should embrace a start-up mentality and be excited to take on new challenges as we discover them.
As a Data Scientist at Asset Impact, you will develop and manage complex data models, support product development, and maintain direct client engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data offerings remain accurate, impactful, and aligned with our clients’ needs. This role also requires supporting quality assurance (QA) processes and contributing to research initiatives within our AI product development.
Key responsibilities
AI is a fast-growing climate data company, so your role will evolve. This means you will have opportunities to suggest, explore, and develop new tools and insights that can help AI achieve its impact-driven mission. It also means that your role and responsibilities will be driven by the growth of AI and your skills and interests. Likewise, besides your main focus, you can be involved in other activities such as building company culture, supporting recruitment, liaising with external stakeholders (e.g., financial institutions, research institutions, data providers, etc.), and/or helping our technical efforts.
