About the job:

Advanced Analytics & Algorithmic Trading is a team within Global Markets focused on leveraging data to automate trading processes through intelligent algorithms and generate actionable market and client insights. The team spans across three major asset classes: Equities, Fixed Income, and FX, developing and deploying reusable solutions across geographies and products.

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the Advanced Analytics & Algorithmic Trading team. The position is in London, to work with the credit flow trading desk developing the market-making algorithms for corporate bonds.

The successful candidate will also help the trading desk implementing trading tools based on data, like predictive models, indicators, and relevant metrics.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate has around 3 years of previous experience in Data Science / Machine Learning and knowledge of financial markets.
• Knowledge of optimal market-making frameworks based on stochastic optimization is a plus.
• Strong Python is a requirement, but experience with Java and KDB+/Q is highly desirable.

Languages:

• A good level of English is required, Spanish is a plus

Working with the trading desk is a highly rewarding experience but requires a lot of energy and commitment, which are expected from any candidate. We also expect the candidate to have a high degree of autonomy.
