Position Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Advanced Analytics team, support whole Manulife departments in different countries. 
  • Strong ability to extract, transform and stage data for consumption. 
  • Develops and implements ad-hoc business analytics and reporting on projects of moderate scope. 
  • Works on problems of moderate scope / complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to generate relevant, actionable insights based on iterative data analysis. 
  • Communicates business analytics of moderate complexity to more senior team members and junior business partners. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline with 3 years of applicable experience or a combination of education and experience  
  • Deep understanding of one programing language such as (Python / R / C ++) 
  • Advanced skill on chart design  
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning models / Deep Learning models 
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools 
  • Experience and deep understanding of relational databases ( SQL / HDFS )
