Main purpose of the position:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Scientist to join our Advanced Analytics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing state-of-the-art machine learning models and analytical solutions. If you are passionate about leveraging data to drive innovation and thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment, this position is perfect for you. Our team developed an innovative data-crunching chatbot using Langchain and built predictive models that simplify the lives of our facility managers. We are also experts in matching algorithms (anomaly detection) and RAG.

What you’ll do:

• Examine data sets to evaluate their quality and determine their suitability for data science applications.
• Identify and implement the most effective analytical or machine learning solutions tailored to each project.
• Work according to the Minimal Viable Product (MVP) principle to ensure efficient and iterative development.
• Partner with data and machine learning engineers to deliver production-ready, AI-driven solutions using Azure Databricks and Azure DevOps environments.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in Machine Learning and AI to contribute to the company’s innovation roadmap.
• Share knowledge and insights from your work to help build a data-driven culture within the organization.
   

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, data science, computer science, software engineering, or a related field,
• Professional experience developing analytical and machine learning solutions,
• Solid programming skills in Python,
• Prior experience of using Git for version control and IDEs (e.g. VSCode) would be an advantage
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, GCP, AWS) and containerization technologies.
   

Personal skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong eagerness to learn and continuously develop new skills.
