Job Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our growing analytics and AI team. This role will focus on developing Automated Valuation Models (AVM), predictive analytics for urban trends, customer acquisition models, and entity resolution systems. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop Automated Valuation Models (AVM) for residential and commercial properties using machine learning and statistical modeling. 

  • Conduct data-driven market analysis to assess property trends, demand forecasting, and price fluctuations. 

  • Optimize valuation methodologies using structured and unstructured real estate data. 

  • Design predictive models to analyze urban development trends, economic indicators, and real estate investment opportunities. 

  • Develop customer acquisition models to enhance data-driven marketing strategies and business expansion. 

  • Collaborate with urban planners, real estate analysts, and investment teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations. 

  • Implement sustainability-focused models to assess the environmental impact of real estate projects. 

  • Integrate climate, energy efficiency, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors into property valuation frameworks. 

  • Design an entity resolution system to unify and link disparate real estate datasets for improved data quality and analytics. 

  • Work closely with data engineers to ensure robust data pipelines, feature engineering, and data preprocessing workflows. 

  • Manage large-scale datasets from public records, geospatial data, financial reports, and IoT real estate sources. 

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, real estate analysts, and financial teams to align data science initiatives with company objectives. 

  • Present insights, findings, and models to executives and cross-functional teams in an understandable and actionable manner. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. 

  • 4+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or predictive analytics. 

  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) or R for data analysis and modeling. 

  • Experience with real estate valuation models, predictive analytics, and econometric modeling. 

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and big data technologies for handling large-scale datasets. 

  • Familiarity with geospatial data analysis (GIS), time-series forecasting, and NLP for text-based property insights. 

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS) and MLOps best practices. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 

  • Ability to translate complex data insights into business-friendly recommendations. 

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams. 

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and drive strategic data initiatives.
