This position could be located in Reston, Herndon, Mclean or Chantilly, VA

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Data Scientist that will support global mission-enabling multi-cloud solutions to mission environments and supporting cloud service providers (CSPs) offering cloud services across multiple networks.

Responsibilities: 

• Demonstrated experience of appropriate analytic methods and methodological tools in one or more of the following areas: Applied Mathematics, computer Programming, visualization
• Demonstrated experience of collection methods, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of cloud service consumption and spend metrics, and of cloud vendor contract performance metrics
• Demonstrated experience of collection methods, capabilities, and tasking process
• Demonstrated experience leveraging multiple data management tools to organize relevant information and make decisions
• Demonstrated experience translating complex, technical findings into an easily understood narrative in graphical, verbal, or written form
• Demonstrated experience multi-tasking and changing focus quickly as demands change
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and effectively in a team environment

Qualifications: 

• Active TS/SCI with Poly
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or technical field
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
• Experience working with cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, or similar)
• Experience working in or with the Department of Defense
• Certifications: Quantitative Field or Data Science related
