Mission for this role

As a data scientist at NocNoc, you will collaborate across organizational boundaries and using your expertise to drive, develop and run advanced analytical or machine learning models of our systems. Advanced machine learning and specialized techniques for online marketplaces such as recommendation systems, product ranking, deep learning and search improvement will be used as a data strategies and tools to drive business success.

Responsibilities:

• Identify business issues that can be solved using analytics, especially machine learning and AI
• Develop machine learning models as solutions for the issues.
• Maintain and improve existing models to enhance values of data products, including adapting existing models to cope with ever-changing business issues.
• Layout the end-to-end processes for gathering/analyzing/designing data and developing/improving machine learning models to solve such problems.
• Manage own data analytics projects, from design experiments, implement predictive models, maintaining the quality of models.
• Drive the adoption of data products to ensure the success and maximize the values of the projects, by working with business units in designing how to incorporate data products into their operations.
• Assist business units to design the end-to-end process for A/B testing of campaigns.

Qualification:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Machine learning, SQL, BI tools and working with large data sets.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in both English and Thai.
• Strong in data analytics skills and statistical techniques.
• Strong Python and SQL background.
• Advanced machine learning and statistical models tailored for online marketplaces, including recommendation systems, product search algorithms, image classification, and extraction of product attributes from images.
• Gathering and use the information in vast amounts of data from various sources, for generating and analyzing through data science processes such as machine learning, data mining, optimization, etc. to drive new perspectives, services and new business strategies for our company.
• Visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (not required but preferred).
