Job Description
Publicis Canada is seeking a talented Data Scientist with 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work with large datasets to extract valuable insights that drive business decisions. Your analytical skills and technical expertise will be crucial in solving complex problems and contributing to data-driven strategies across various departments.
As a Data Scientist you will:
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets using advanced analytics techniques
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements
- Optimize data collection procedures and ensure data quality and integrity
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1-2 years of professional experience in data science or a related role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with big data platforms (e.g., Big Query, BigQuery ML)
- Expertise in data analysis and statistical modeling using Python or R
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their real-world applications
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker Studio)
- Exposure to digital marketing analytics
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts
