Knowesis, a dynamic and forward-thinking company, is currently seeking an exceptional Data Scientist to join our team and provide invaluable support to CENTCOM Headquarters Logistics Operating Environment (CHLOE).

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance and possess U.S. Citizenship without the need for sponsorship, both now and in the future. Applicants without proof of U.S. Citizenship will not be considered due to the position’s security clearance requirements.

 The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:  

• Build AI models using machine learning algorithms and deep learning neural networks to integrate with Command Common Operating Picture data repository to enable logisticians decision-making in near real time.
• Build predictive models using vast volumes of data and have in- depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning algorithms and frameworks.
• Work with the Command Staff to ensure AI/ML workflows include Cyber, Knowledge and Information Management disciplines to enable the Decision-Making Process.
• Build data ingestion and data transformation infrastructure to interface with the LOGCOP data repository application program interfaces (API) and build AI/ML models to enterprise standards for data sharing with joint enterprise systems.  
• Provide an integrated specialized AI/ML models that correlate and manipulate various datasets to provide the warfighter at all levels of engagement the information advantage in demand forecasting, global resource management, transportation, distribution, force posturing, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, supply chain optimization, and align OPLAN-contingency development.
• Integrate the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Tool with the Command Logistics Common Operational Picture framework.
• Provide data centric recommendations on where and how to utilize AI/ML platforms within the CENTCOM enterprise.
• Further develop AI/ML platforms and algorithms based on the CENTCOM Headquarters defined priorities. AI/ML tool shall ingest large amounts of API data from the LOGCOP Repository and develop AI models outputs in API format for data sharing across the Joint Logistics Enterprise.
• AI/ML Tool algorithms shall support logistics free text inquiries and visualized in a user-friendly application requiring limited user configuration and interaction.
• Provide integrated Logistics Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination disciplines across the Staff. Data sets and workflows will include Staff Knowledge Management disciplines to enable, integrate and automate Operations, Intelligence, and Logistics Processing capabilities to enhance the decision-making process.

Required Qualifications:  

• 8+ years of industry experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis.
• Experience and understanding of programming, software engineering and data science to develop specialized AI models that correlate with various logistics datasets to meet desired objectives.
• Understanding and experience with the following
  • LOGCOP Data Repository
  • JOPES OPLANs and Service Components Readiness Systems
  • In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning algorithms and frameworks

Required Education: 

•  Master’s degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent professional or military experience.
