As a Data Science Specialist, you will play a key role in developing data-driven applications, managing data pipelines, and ensuring data integrity and accessibility in the Integration Business Operations

The impact you will make in this role

• Data Applications: Develop data-driven applications using Python.
• Data Processing: Use Cloud Applications (Databricks, SageMaker, etc) for data processing and analytics.
• Machine Learning Modeling: Regression, classification and clustering models
• Natural Language Processing: LLM, GenAI, Agents
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists and analysts.
• Testing: Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Documentation: Document technical decisions and approaches.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: 

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in data development and Python programming.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Language: Advanced proficiency in English
• Advanced Data Processing: Familiarity with advanced data processing and analytics techniques (data manipulation and exploratory analysis using SQL, PySpark, Snowflake , etc)
• Machine Learning: Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Cloud: Experience with AWS/Azure Environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

• Advanced experience with Python, Databricks, GitHub, LLM, OpenAI=
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• Continuous Learning: A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
