Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our Machine Learning and Data Science team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling. You will work on complex data science projects, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Data Science Projects: Oversee the end-to-end execution of data science initiatives, from data collection and cleaning to model deployment and monitoring.

• Develop Predictive Models: Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to build models that predict customer behavior, market trends, and other key business metrics.

• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies. Translate findings into understandable insights for stakeholders.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, product development, and business teams to integrate data-driven solutions into products and services.

• Mentor Junior Team Members: Provide guidance and support to junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI to ensure the team employs cutting-edge techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelors/Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data science or a related role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful projects.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R.

• Strong experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Proficient in SQL and database management.

• Familiarity with big data platforms like Hadoop or Spark is a plus.

• Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable business insights.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking with a results-oriented mindset.
