This is a key Leadership position within the ACS Business Unit.  Provide thought leadership and advise with direct and extended team, influence strategic GTM direction and execution for OEM, Data Science and other core and growth businesses through driving key global solutions - being an integral part to deliver strong financials in core business, in parallel critical leadership for complex new businesses and expanding ACS TAM. Engage with Planning/Customers at early stages - influencing with customer/market insights.  Unique and senior level skills needed to drive GTM acceleration and turnaround plan from front end to back end. Engage in Strategic Alliances at a leadership level (ISV/Markets/End Customers/Channels are a few examples). Business Development includes new Routes to Market both with broader solutions foundations to be built; Optimizing not only the the core business to higher growth, but driving the new growth infrastructures forward to scale, and in parallel continuing the acceleration of the OEM Business

Global scope and global employee base. Responsibility includes Business Development leaders, Managers, and detailed competitive analysis and action for 25+ products, as well as expansion across SW and Services. Interaction is at the Market Directors and VP level to ensure market solutions strategy, and key initiatives get the proper level of alignment and engagement. This leader is a key partner to drive cross organizational initiatives to ensure flawless product launches, on time delivery, drive awareness and excitement, and build foundations for ACS future revenue streams. Extensive work with Planning teams, BPS, Markets, Current Business, HR, and Pan PS teams.

You will also act as an HP/ACS HP Brand Ambassador and reinforce the brand at every step of product development, NPI, events and customer welcome centres.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate for this position will have:
    • Passionate and knowledgeable about the consumer insights, about the customer experience and enabling our sales organizations to delight our customers
    • Visionary business strategy leadership
    • Superb team and change leadership skills
    • Experienced at non-standard Go-to-Market models as well as scaling established infrastructures
    • Collaborative leader and team player with demonstrated cross-organizational agility and problem solving, especially working with product & marketing leaders, R&D, designers, external agencies, external partners and regional teams.
    • Strong team player, self-starter, motivated, proactive, curious. Excellent cross-organization and communication skills required.
    • Influencing and relationship development skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and expertise in communicating across functions
    • Persuasive Communicator. Make cases that are impossible to refute or ignore.  Use data appropriately, while tapping into other biases, beliefs, and triggers to get things done.
    • Proven experience in successfully launching products and solutions globally
    • Experience in product planning and/or marketing positioning (4P).
    • Highly creative and a demonstrated drive, confidence and risk taking
    • Proven program and project management and process development skills. 
  • Education:
  •  Undergraduate Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related fields
  • MBA Preferred
  • 15 years of relevant work experience with history of progression in complexity of responsibility
  • Minimum of 5-10 years management experience

Per CA and WA statutes, the estimated range of compensation for this job in these locations, at the time of this posting, is $168,500 – $269,800 USD.  This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
