Introduction

The focus of the semiconductor industry (and other industries simultaneously) is more and more on a green environment and circular economy. ASML is committed to play a strong role in this and that's why we have the Re-Use Engineering department. The Improvement Engineering group within the Re-Use Engineering department is looking for a student in Data & Analytics to improve its efficiency and make meaningful improvements when it comes to information management to support R&R engineering activities.
 

Your assignment

Your main responsibilities during this internship are:

  • Collect and update enterprise data and process it to business friendly data format;

  • Build and maintain ETL (Extract, transform, and load) processes;

  • Communicate updated data to users;

  • Support maintenance of business analysis and reporting;

  • Study an automation proposal.
     

Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Are a bachelor/HBO or master student in Data Science, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or equivalent;

  • Have proven knowledge and experience in Spotfire, Power BI, SQL, Python, Alteryx and Databricks;

  • Have a pro-active and pragmatic attitude who likes to challenge the status quo;

  • Excel in the English language.


This assignment is suitable for an apprentice internship only (non-thesis/graduation). The start date of this assignment is as of January 2025, with a duration of minimum 6 months, 3 days per week - wherefrom minimum 1 day on-site.
 

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
     

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
