About the roleAs a Data Operations Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our data processes. You will be responsible for managing physical data storage and backups, performing quality checks on our sensor systems, and optimizing data pipelines. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and success of our AI-driven products. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to apply their technical skills in a dynamic environment.
The internship will run from September to December, with the possibility of extension based on company needs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee physical data management, including handling HDD, SSD, and microSD backups.
- Conduct pre-shipment testing of sensor systems to ensure quality and functionality.
- Facilitate data movement through cloud pipelines, with a focus on automating repetitive tasks.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline errors, or escalate to the appropriate team member.
- Occasionally contribute to data annotation for the development of AI products.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Linux/Ubuntu CLI.
- Basic to intermediate experience with Python.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
