Our team “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enablement” provides exceptional Data Science (project & upskilling) services to stakeholders across BASF. We play a vital role in driving the AI transformation at BASF and serve as the backbone of the Analytics & AI Community. With a focus on developing exceptional content, innovative learning formats and ensuring sustainable learning outcomes for BASF employees, our goal is to empower all of BASF with AI skills and competencies that enable informed decision-making and drive business growth.

We are seeking a Data and AI Curriculum Owner to join our team of AI enthusiasts. In this role you will drive the creation, development, and management of the Data & AI learning portfolio, ensuring it aligns with organizational needs and objectives. You will also be responsible for continually enhancing the portfolio based on learner feedback and evolving business needs.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive learning portfolio covering all areas of Data & AI.
  • Assess the quality of external learning material, interact, and negotiate with possible vendors.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the portfolio meets the needs of the organization.
  • Work together with Data & AI Trainers and Learning & Enablement Specialists to create new, internal learning formats and learning material.
  • Evaluate the use of AI for learning material development.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the portfolio, making improvements as necessary.
  • Stay abreast on latest trends and advancements in Data & AI to ensure the portfolio remains relevant and updated.
  • Interact with Data & AI Adoption Manager and team lead to include feedback into portfolio and create mid-term roadmap together.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • Master's degree in Business Information Technology or a related field, specializing in Data Analysis, Data Science, or Data Engineering. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology or a related field, with a focus on Data Analysis, Data Science, or Data Engineering. Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Science, preferably in an industry setting.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale education/training programs and portfolio management preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in driving Data & AI-driven learning initiatives within organizations.
  • Strong grasp of AI and Data Science concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to comprehend the diverse business and learning needs of various audiences.
  • Nice-to-have: German language fluency – oral and written.
