ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and client-oriented Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Consulting Leader to join our Data and AI Practice in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
Practice Business Leadership
- Lead a team of Solution Consultants to drive business development activities to meet strategic objectives and annual operation/long range strategic plan goals.
- Provides operational direction and coordination of program planning, integration, control, and resource management.
- Supports practice financial tracking (e.g., cost, revenue, GP, book-to-bill) and pipeline management.
- Communicates with Data and AI Practice leadership, Subject Matter Experts (SME’s), and peers within the practice to identify and resolve problems and challenges to ensure sound execution of internal and client facing initiatives.
- Identifies, develops, and implements efficiencies that enhance productivity and/or reduce overall practice and contract costs to the government.
- Supports business development activities to meet strategic objectives and annual operation/long range strategic plan goals; and supports delivery excellence activities for the practice.
Delivery Consulting Focused
- Leverage a deep mission understanding of client needs and objectives focused in the areas of Data and AI to design and implement innovative solutions.
- Explain mission challenges and issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work with diverse team of resources to deliver FOAK projects based on ManTech’s project methodology.
- Facilitate workshops in support of project delivery (client and internal initiatives)
- Create client-facing project deliverables, teaming with technical SMEs, project and, practice leadership.
- Gather pre-implementation and post-implementation facts to contribute to ROI documentation and other Business Case components for the past performance write-ups; this includes creating needed documentation.
- Identify opportunities for organic contract growth.
Supporting all areas:
- In partnership with Data and AI practice leadership, implement ManTech’s Data and AI Practice strategic vision.
- Leads, guides and mentors team members and employees to enable growth.
- Less than 25% travel required to various client sites for project consulting and oversite as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering, relevant experience acceptable in lieu of preferred degree)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting IC, FedCiv or DoD clients,
- Experience contributing to Data and AI projects with a diverse team of resources.
- Experience tailoring project deliverables / project artifacts to adapt to the practice methodology.
- Experience preparing and presenting project findings / results to clients and corporate leadership.
- Experience providing input to strategic account planning.
- Strong analytical and quality assessment skills.
- Experience with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) and collaboration tools like Slack
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a consultant for a major Federal consulting firm
- PMP
- Experience leading teams of at least 5 people
- Experience working in an Agile team
- Experience with Google Workspace and collaboration tools
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
Security Clearance Requirement:
- US citizenship
- Secret clearance (or higher) is required to start. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly
The projected compensation range for this position is
172,000.00-287,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
