Job Description

At Sia Partners, we believe AI is the cornerstone of the new generation. Our consultants' business acumen, combined with the expertise of our Data Scientists and AI products, empowers us to address our clients' business challenges across the data universe. As we expand our team in Perth, we seek professionals who share our vision and can contribute to our growth. 

We are looking for individuals with the following experience: 

As part of an international and fast-growing community of 250+ data professionals located in our 8 Centres of Excellence (Paris, Montréal, Brussels/Amsterdam, New York, London, Hong Kong, and the Middle East), you will be an important catalyst in the development and promotion of our offer in Australia. This will involve:   

Lead delivery projects with our clients on a wide range of topics: 

  • Data and AI strategy and roadmap development in alignment with corporate strategy   
  • Delivery of data analytics, visualisation and AI solutions across technologies, including Azure, Snowflake, Oracle, GCP & AWS 
  • Functional data design, data modelling, and data pipeline development (ETL) enhance the management and value of data across organisations and markets 
  • Machine learning, AI and statistics, including developing predictive models of decision-making, supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, and quantitative diagnosis. 
  • Delivery of data modernisation and migration projects that utilise data transformation technologies
  • Implement frameworks to manage data governance and move towards a target operating model for people and processes, including data quality, data stewards, and master data management
  • Supporting the adoption and enablement of Data and AI solutions 
  • Participating in business development, working on existing projects, and taking part in the development of new opportunities and the development of new offers that leverage and expand upon Sia Partners Global Data and AI solutions, partnerships and platforms (Heka.ai, SIA GPT) 

In addition, we are seeking technical experience across all or some of the below: 

  • SQL skills to support data pipeline and data modelling
  • Azure, Snowflake, AWS or Oracle data warehousing technologies 
  • Data transformation tooling, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Five Tran, Matilion, Oracle Data Integration, AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline, and others
  • Azure services, including Synapse, Data Lake , Azure Databricks and Fabric 
  • Analytics tooling, including Power BI, Tableau, Quick Sight or Oracle Analytics Cloud or similar 
  • JIRA / Confluence or similar agile tooling experience 

Your role will involve coaching and mentoring consultants, ensuring projects are delivered beyond expectations, and providing fresh perspectives to challenge the status quo. 

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced qualifications are advantageous
  • Prior experience in professional services, preferably in a Big 4 environment or with another leading consulting firm. Data and AI delivery experience is indispensable
  • A demonstrated track record overseeing end-to-end digital transformation, Data, AI, IT advisory, and/or enterprise software projects 
  • Leadership skills are crucial for our clients' projects
  • Experience in local networks and aiding in business development, proposal, and RFPs
  • It is essential to work independently, functionally, and cross-functionally with large client and vendor teams to deliver quality and comprehensive solutions. 
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build networks and influence stakeholders effectively
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving
