The role
We are looking for an experienced consultant to boost our Data & AI business in the Swiss insurance market.
How you'll make impact
Presale & sales (50%)
- Work closely with our sales team to develop and execute sales strategies (acquisition and repeat business) on topics related to data and AI in insurance
- Help prepare and carry-out pre-sale meeting with C-Level prospects to identify and qualify needs and opportunities for collaboration
- Act as an ambassador and thought leader for our discipline, by attending events and networking opportunities
- Develop consulting offerings matching Zühlke’s expertise to the evolving market context and needs
- Present Zühlke’s offerings, assets and past references on data & AI topics to insurance prospects
- Lead the design of proposals for projects covering both consulting and development of tailored data and AI solutions
- Support pitches and negations to secure new contracts
Client projects (50%)
- Support the delivery of projects within interdisciplinary teams of business, IT and data/AI professional - both on consulting project and delivery-oriented projects.
- Act as a hands-on project/product manager or product owner
- Consult clients on the organizational aspects of successful Data & AI transformations (governance, education, processes, etc.)
- Act as a trusted advisor for our clients on topics related to data and AI in insurance
- Identify unmet needs and new opportunities for collaboration while working on client projects
What's important to us
- University degree from a leading institution in business or STEM
- Several years consulting and Data & AI-related work experience
- Strong consulting foundations: effective communication, project management, running workshops, selling consulting work, pragmatism, output-focused work, etc.
- Work or consulting experience in insurance, preferably across multiple verticals (i.e., life, health, property…)
- Expertise in at least one of the core insurance processes (underwriting, claims…)
- Good grasp of the industry’s challenges, key trends, particularly related to Data & AI
- Expertise in data and/or AI strategy, governance, and management with a deep understanding of how to effectively structure and oversee data & AI initiatives
- Expertise with Data & AI implementation projects, from idea to production
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, build and lead interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- You are assertive, eloquent, proactive and enthusiastic
- You are highly customer-centric and can think and communicate across disciplines and levels of seniority
- You are results-oriented and able to win over stakeholders and decision-makers.
