ABOUT THE ROLE As the Customer Insights Manager at Plaud, you'll be the organization's expert on customer behavior, needs, and market dynamics. You'll transform quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights that inform product strategy, marketing initiatives, and sales approaches. By developing a deep understanding of both individual users and enterprise buyers, you'll help Plaud build the right features, communicate the right messages, and deliver maximum value to our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Design and implement customer research programs that yield actionable insights about user needs, behaviors, and pain points

  • Build and maintain customer segmentation models that identify valuable cohorts and their unique characteristics

  • Analyze product usage data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for enhancing user experience and driving enterprise adoption

  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning and identify differentiation opportunities

  • Create detailed buyer personas that inform marketing strategies and sales approaches

  • Establish voice of customer programs that systematically capture and organize customer feedback

  • Partner with Product teams to ensure customer insights inform roadmap decisions

  • Collaborate with Marketing on messaging that resonates with target segments

  • Support Sales with intelligence about prospect needs and decision-making factors

  • Develop dashboards that democratize customer insights across the organization

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 3+ years of experience in customer insights, market research, or related analytics roles

  • Strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques for extracting insights from user behavior data

  • Knowledge of product analytics platforms and CRM systems

  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations

  • Experience conducting customer interviews and synthesizing findings

  • Understanding of PLG enterprise software purchasing dynamics

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tell compelling stories with data

  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business impact through customer understanding
