Position Overview
The Corporate Development team shapes the company's capital allocation strategy, fostering relationships with investors and ensuring transparent and effective communication with the financial community, and overseeing executive talent acquisition including mergers and acquisitions. The Corporate Development Associate contributes to all stages of corporate development - from identification and commercial assessment to reporting – while supporting CRA’s investor relations efforts. This position reports to a Corporate Development Associate.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Work cross-functionally to conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform hiring targets;
- Schedule and manage logistics for executive talent acquisition including interviews, evaluations, employment agreements and offer details, and interactions with external recruiting agencies;
- Support the execution of mergers and acquisitions and talent acquisitions, including sourcing opportunities, conducting market research, performing financial analysis, and coordinating aspects of the end-to-end deal process, from initial due diligence to closing and post-transaction integration;
- Assist with post-acquisition integration and performance management/monitoring.
- Investor Relations:
- Organize and manage logistics for investor meetings, earnings calls, conferences, and presentations;
- Distribute quarterly earnings reports, press releases, and other financial communications;
- Monitor and analyze market trends, analyst reports, and industry trade press.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support investor and Board communications;
- Analyze economic and financial data using self-developed financial modeling and standard software;
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or accounting;
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate development, private equity, venture capital or investment banking;
- Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities and high level of proficiency in Excel;
- Strong written and presentation skills, with the ability to convey key messaging to the management team and other senior audiences;
- Effective oral communication skills with ability to manage outside agencies professionally and coordinate complex logistics with executive-level candidates;
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, manage time, and prioritize tasks;
- Demonstrated high level of initiative, creative problem solving and leadership;
- Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities;
- Good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Work Location Flexibility
