Catalyx is seeking an experienced Control Technician with strong expertise in PLC programming, troubleshooting and validation/QA.

Responsibilities:

·       Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve control systems using Allen-Bradley SLC 500, ControlLogix, and Siemens S7 1400/7400 PLCs.

·       Program, modify, and optimize PLC logic to support production efficiency and reliability.

·       Support day-to-day plant operations by resolving equipment and control system issues.

·       Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to upgrade or replace legacy equipment.

·       Review and develop electrical schematics, I/O lists, and control panel layouts.

·       Document control strategies, PLC code changes, and system modifications.

·       Provide technical support for instrumentation and control components across multiple production lines.

 



Requirements

Requirements:

·       Strong hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley SLC 500, ControlLogix, and RSLogix 5/5000.

·       Proficiency in Siemens S7 1400/7400 PLC programming and troubleshooting.

·       Solid understanding of control panel wiring, I/O systems, and ladder logic.

·       Experience with legacy system support and modernization projects.

·       Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
