In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in developing a broad array of innovative learning materials, including videos, written guides, interactive experiences, and other student-facing content. These materials will significantly enrich our curriculum and elevate the educational journey of our students in Data Science.

As a Content Writer with a deep understanding of Data Science, you will serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for creating content that is not only top-quality but also engaging and interactive. Your expertise in Data Science will play a vital role in crafting diverse educational materials that accommodate various learning styles, ensuring all students have the opportunity to excel. Your responsibilities will include producing instructional videos that simplify complex data science theories and techniques, and designing interactive modules for experiential learning. Your contributions will be key to nurturing our students' skills and knowledge for success in the rapidly evolving world of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive and compelling learning materials for our Data Science program, including lesson plans, instructional guides, and student resources
• Work in collaboration with instructional designers and other SMEs to ensure the accuracy and relevance of content
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in Data Science to maintain the currency and industry relevance of our content
• Customize content to suit different learning styles, making it accessible and appealing to a diverse student body
• Aid in the continuous enhancement of course materials, integrating feedback from students and faculty
• Engage in curriculum development meetings, contributing to the strategy and direction of the Data Science program

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or *Computer Science (with a focus on data), or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in content creation, writing, or educational material development, ideally in the field of Data Science
• Solid understanding of Data Science concepts, methodologies, and industry standards
• Excellent writing and communication skills, capable of explaining complex data concepts in an understandable and engaging way
• Collaborative team player, able to effectively work with others to create high-quality educational content
• Commitment to creating inclusive and student-centered learning materials

Note: If selected to meet with a member of the Talent Acquisition team, candidates will be expected to deliver a writing sample and a sample of technical work prior to advancing to the next interview stage.

Expected Compensation: 

• $90K-$110K
