Fingermark researches and develops game-changing, innovative technologies that support its vision: to revolutionise customer speed of service. To continue delivering to this vision around the world we are looking for an exceptional Computer Vision / Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. 

What you’ll be doing:

You will be working in a very dynamic team environment across multiple technologies and disciplines. Your primary role will be designing and applying computer vision, machine learning and deep learning algorithms to solve complex data mining, pattern recognition and object detection problems. This is a key role helping to deliver outstanding products to our worldwide customers.

Do you have the unique combination of skills we are looking for?

The ideal candidate will be a generalist with good knowledge across the board, but do not worry if you do not have all the desirable skills, a willingness to learn new things will go a long way.

The preferred skills and experience include:

• Breadth of knowledge across computer vision and deep learning development, and architecture
• Research of recent deep learning, computer vision, and computer architecture developments
• Ability to understand and implement cutting edge deep learning techniques
• Experience delivering computer vision-based products including practical coding experience
• Experience developing algorithms with computer vision technologies
• Experience with DNN models and frameworks (e.g. Yolo, SDD, Darknet, Tensorflow, Caffe)
• Serverless, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudWatch
• API design and build - REST, GraphQL
• Microservices design and development
• Containers, e.g. Docker, Helm
• Terraform, Serverless
• SSH tunnels, VPN
• Continuous integration/deployment
• Git, Bitbucket
• Monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus)
• Strong working knowledge of Linux
• AWS, Google Cloud Platform
• Data science and engineering, simulation/queue modelling experience desirable
• Neural networks experience
• Demonstrated programming skills with Python
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Team player and self-motivated
• Ability to work in an Agile environment
