Computer vision engineer at Hawk-Eye Innovations, you will be part of an agile team responsible for delivering cutting-edge ball, player, and object tracking technology across sports like tennis, football, and cricket. On any given day, you will tackle complex computer vision problems, including multi-view geometry and image processing, and develop our AI platform. You will prototype and develop code in Visual Studio C++ and optimise solutions using GPU processing with CUDA and OpenCV.

You will collaborate closely with our product team and customers to establish requirements and develop innovative solutions for challenging problems in sports technology. You will brainstorm with the wider team, conduct research, and determine the best approaches. Working in agile two-week sprints, you will deliver game-changing technology and support the global deployment of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of vision processing algorithms and enhancing our AI platform

• Participating in full life cycle development of projects, collaborating with creatives, product engineers, and the wider development team

• Implementing new features in our products

• Performing analysis and optimisations for both CPU and GPU

• Reporting progress and issues to the team

• Innovating, learning, and pushing the boundaries

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• Developing experience with computer vision algorithms and techniques

• Proficient in C++ with a desire to advance technical skills

• Early knowledge of performance optimization for CPU and GPU

• Experience with networking, concurrency, and operating systems

• Interest in machine learning and early knowledge of machine learning libraries

• Basic understanding of Git, Visual Studio and CUDA would be a bonus but not essential
