The Composite Manufacturing & Assembly Technician will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of composite components within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role requires a skilled individual with a strong understanding of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques. The technician will work with a team of engineers and technicians to produce high-quality composite parts that meet stringent specifications.
Required Qualifications:
Education: ITI or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace).
Experience:
2-6 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within the composite manufacturing & Assembly industry is highly desirable.

Composite Manufacturing Processes:
Prepreg Layup: Proficient in the layup of prepreg materials, including cutting, kitting, and placement onto molds or tooling.
Sandwich Panel Manufacturing: Skilled in the fabrication of sandwich panels, including core material selection, adhesive bonding, and skin layup.
Resin Infusion Process: Knowledgeable in resin infusion techniques, including vacuum bagging, resin injection, and cure monitoring.
Composite Part Assembly:
Bonding and Integration: Proficient in various bonding and joining techniques for composite components, including adhesive bonding, mechanical fastening, and riveting.
Finishing and Surface Preparation: Skilled in surface preparation and finishing of composite parts to meet cosmetic and functional requirements.
Drawing and Work Instruction Comprehension:
Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
Work Instruction Adherence: Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
