Commercialization Portfolio AI, Senior Manager

You’re an AI/ML software engineer who is intellectually curious with a proven track-record of developing and implementing technology-centric solutions in the project and portfolio management space. We’re looking for a software development professional who is skilled and knowledgeable in portfolio management, analytics, and reporting. You bring experience implementing AI technology solutions to portfolio management and analytics within the biotechnology industry.
The Senior Manager, Commercialization Portfolio AI, reports to the Director of Amgen’s Portfolio Reporting & Systems Team within the Portfolio Management Office. We are open to discussions about location flexibility or remote work arrangements. However, due to the nature of the work, co-location with the headquarter in Thousand Oaks is preferred.
Commercialization is the framework for bringing molecules from the lab through the clinic and to patients. There are few processes that are more central to Amgen than Commercialization.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant experience
Or
Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Or
Associate degree and 10 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Or
High School Diploma / GED and 12 years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to influence and lead teams in a high-performance environment. Skilled in collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translating those needs into actionable technical requirements. This individual must possess the technical expertise to design and implement solutions, including hands-on programming and development, and take ownership of the entire end-to-end process.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
