This Role As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Norm Ai, you will design and manage cloud infrastructure to support our AI-driven compliance platform. You'll create secure, scalable solutions that can adapt to diverse enterprise requirements. Your expertise in cloud architecture, networking, and deployment strategies will be essential for building flexible infrastructure that meets customer needs while maintaining operational excellence.
You Will
Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple providers
Configure adaptable deployment architectures with appropriate isolation boundaries
Develop Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform to ensure consistent, reliable provisioning
Facilitate secure customer connectivity to the Norm Ai platform
Establish monitoring, logging, and control plane capabilities across varied deployment environments
Develop CI/CD pipelines that support diverse infrastructure targets
Communicate infrastructure architecture decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Balance operational efficiency with customer security and compliance requirementsEvaluate and implement new cloud technologies to enhance our infrastructure capabilities
Skills & Experience - Core
4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or similar roles
Strong knowledge of major cloud platforms and their infrastructure services
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
Deep understanding of networking fundamentals from software-defined abstractions down to hardware-level configurations and packet routing
Understanding of data and resource isolation patterns and their appropriate use cases
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of identity and access management across cloud environments
Ability to explain complex infrastructure concepts to different audiences effectively
Skills & Experience - Pluses
Background working with enterprise InfoSec requirements in regulated industries
Experience with creating shared and tenant-scoped services
Experience with compliance frameworks relevant to financial services such as SAML, SSO, 17a-4
