About the RoleThe post is based in the Trauma Sciences research team within the Centre for Neuroscience, Surgery and Trauma. The Trauma Sciences research team (www.c4ts.qmul.ac.uk) provides the framework for trauma sciences research that we believe will lead to a step-change in outcomes for trauma patients. Trauma clinical studies are a specialised field due to the demands on the research environment and the ethical issues involved. We are also a member of the International Trauma Research Network. This collaboration of European and American specialist trauma Centre’s aims to advance research in the field of fundamental, translational and clinical research into the body’s acute and longer-term response to severe injury and blood transfusion therapy.About YouTo support the undertaking of AI-TRIPS study across London (based at the Royal London Hospital and QMUL):Work as part of an experienced clinical research team based at The Royal London Hospital and the Blizard Institute.Manage the AI-TRIPS clinical trials study in conjunction with the Centre for Trauma Sciences Operations Manager, Principal Investigator, Chief investigators and management groups.
