Main purpose of the job 

Build business knowledge and facilitate more straightforward, easier and faster decision making via independent management of advanced analytics projects. As part of the Business Intelligence & Data Science function your goal is to get more value out of available data via data democratization and advanced data analytics. 

More specifically, you will be trusted to:   

• Contribute to AEI Strategic Planning & Insights team in area of Brand & Consumer, Trade & Shopper, and Market & Context. 

• Deliver fast, effective & complex analysis of multiple data sources. 

• Contribute to the AEI strategy of consolidating and leveraging all business relevant data. 

• Drive the way of working for acquiring additional data sources and leveraging them the most effective way. 

• Drive the implementation of effective analytical platforms and tools for running advanced models. 

• Implement central data models for selected topics (e.g. pricing, marketing communication) to be further leveraged on local and/or functional level. 

• Lead initiatives to support local markets SP&I teams with data analytics questions and built BI & DS capabilities. 

• Use your expertise and curiosity to come up with new initiatives that bring value to the business. 

Do you have what it takes? 

• Master degree in Math/ Data Science/ Business Intelligence/ Statistics or related areas 

• At least 5 years experiences in Insight & Data analysis specialist position  

• At least 2-3 years of experience in supporting role for commercial strategy development and category development initiatives via effective business intelligence, analytical & data support  

• Good understanding of fundamental commercial processes – through the data & analytical support tools 

• Experienced with advanced data & analytical tools and leveraging them in business decision support 

• Ability to develop current, learn new, and implement improved methodological approaches 

• Good business acumen – able to translate the advanced tools & data science solution to actionable business language
