Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis and Insights- Collect and analyze sales data (such as sales pipeline, customer lifecycle, conversion rate, etc.) to extract key insights.- Monitor market trends of AP/AR solutions, customer behavior, and competitor dynamics to support sales strategies.- Regularly generate sales KPI reports (such as revenue growth, customer retention, sales efficiency, etc.) to assist management in evaluating the performance of the sales team.
2. Sales Forecasting and Planning- Conduct sales forecasting based on historical data, market trends, and the current sales pipeline.- Provide accurate forecasting models for the sales team and management to help set quarterly or annual sales targets.- Evaluate and optimize pricing strategies and contract terms to enhance profitability.
3. Customer Segmentation and Opportunity Identification- Use BI tools to segment customer groups (such as by industry, size, geographical location, etc.) and identify high - potential customers or markets.- Analyze customer behavior data during the use of AP/AR solutions (such as payment cycle, accounts receivable turnover rate, etc.) to discover cross - selling or value - added service opportunities.
4. Sales Process Optimization- Identify bottlenecks in the sales process through data analysis and provide improvement suggestions (such as shortening the sales cycle and increasing the closing rate).- Track the source and quality of sales leads to optimize the allocation of sales resources.- Use automation tools to simplify the work processes of the sales team and improve efficiency.
5. Data Visualization and Tool Support- Build and maintain BI dashboards for the sales team and management to view sales performance in real - time.- Provide intuitive data visualizations (such as sales trend charts, customer distribution maps, etc.) to support key decision - making.- Interface with CRM (such as zoho CRM) and financial systems to integrate sales and financial data, providing more comprehensive analysis for customers of AP/AR solutions.
6. Support for Strategic Decision - Making- Provide data - based strategic recommendations for the sales team, such as entering new markets and adjusting sales priorities.- Assist management in formulating targeted sales strategies (such as solution marketing for enterprises with high accounts receivable) by analyzing customer financial data related to AP/AR.
7. Data Quality Management- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of sales data, and regularly clean and update data in the CRM system or data warehouse.- Design and implement data management processes to ensure the reliability of BI analysis.
Qualifications & Key Skills
Technical Competencies- Proficient in using BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker).- Proficient in SQL, Python, or R for data extraction and analysis.- Understand the data structure in CRM and financial systems (such as Salesforce, NetSuite).
Business Understanding- Have in - depth knowledge of the business logic and customer needs of AP/AR solutions.- Be familiar with the sales process and the operation mechanism of the SaaS industry.
Data - Driven Thinking- Be able to transform complex data into clear business insights to support the decision - making of the sales team and management.
