Your assignment

A key step in delivering value enabled by analytical insights is monitoring the (value) impact of the actions that are based on the insights. We create value tracking mechanisms for all our supported dashboards and projects to track the enabled value and to spot opportunities for more value enablement. Periodically, we manually create overviews to higher management where we aggregate information from all dashboards. Given our recent expansion to support other business lines and BPI, we require an automated dashboard that aggregates value tracking data from all supported initiatives. The main deliverable of the assignment will be a full product version of the value office dashboard consisting of the following steps:
 

Key deliverables include:

  • Creating lower-level data pipelines and dashboards for current value tracking mechanisms: Gather requirements, design and automate data pipelines in Alteryx, build dashboards and perform user acceptance testing .

  • Contribute to the creation of an overall cohesive system and architecture of all integrated dashboards to ensure automated aggregation from the lower-level to the team and department level.

  • Write functional- and technical documentation

  • Create and organize training and handover sessions to embed the dashboard in the team’s way of working and industrialize the solution.

 
This is an apprentice internship for 4 months, minimum 4 days per week. The start date of this internship is February 2025.

 
Your profile

To be a perfect fit for this assignment, you:

  • Have a background in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science or Econometrics.

  • Have experience with data visualization and data processing tools and techniques. For example: Spotfire, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlickview.

  • Have data processing / SQL skills: being able to join, filter and create new columns for data sets.

  • Have a professional communication and documentation: can explain and present technical matters within the team.

  • Have internal drive for efficiency and able to work disciplined and accurate.

  • Are pragmatic, pro-active, ‘self-propelling’ way of working and able to operate in a dynamic environment.

 
Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
