Job Description:

Fit In the Organization
Business Development Representatives (BDR) are hunters of net new opportunities for the HPC AI product category within HPE. BDRs fill the pipeline for the field sales representatives by setting up qualified meetings and building pipelines for respective territories. Once a meeting has been scheduled, BDR will work alongside the respective field sales representative and solutions architect team. The BDRs’ role is to increase sales through cold/warm calling prospects and create continuous opportunity for HPE by educating potential customers on the HPC Al portfolio. The role is highly focused on task execution, proactive follow-up, and developing in-depth knowledge of the territory and customer base.

This position will be based in our Houston, TX office, 5 days per week.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey them over the phone and email.
  • The ability to conceptualize and convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Understanding of how HPE engages with the channel to build pipeline within acquisition target accounts.
