With global partnerships, including leading AI companies and automotive firms, we are expanding our presence in Asia/China to drive strategic growth and strengthen our partnerships in the region.
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead YPAI’s expansion in Asia, with a focus on China. This role requires deep knowledge of the AI/data collection industry, strong networking capabilities, and a proven track record in B2B sales, partnerships, and market expansion.
You will develop, manage, and execute growth strategies to establish YPAI as a key AI data partner in the region. You will collaborate with Chinese AI companies, automotive firms, and technology enterprises, ensuring seamless business development efforts and revenue generation.
Market Expansion: Identify and establish partnerships with AI firms, automotive companies, and tech enterprises in China and broader Asia.
Sales & Client Acquisition: Develop a pipeline of B2B clients for YPAI’s AI data services, including data annotation, speech collection, and AI training data.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with Chinese AI companies, research institutions, and government agencies to secure large-scale data projects.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers in AI, machine learning, and automotive industries.
Localization Strategy: Adapt YPAI’s offerings to meet Chinese market needs, ensuring compliance with data regulations (e.g., GDPR, China’s PIPL).
Industry Networking: Represent YPAI at AI conferences, tech expos, and business networking events in China and Asia.
Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed revenue and partnership acquisition targets, ensuring sustained business growth.
Experience: 5+ years in business development, B2B sales, or partnerships in AI, data collection, or tech industries.
Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of China’s AI ecosystem, including regulatory frameworks (e.g., PIPL, GDPR) and business culture.
Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (other Asian languages are a plus).
Industry Expertise: Prior experience working with Chinese AI companies, automotive firms, or large-scale data projects.
Network: Existing connections within China’s AI, tech, or automotive sectors are a significant advantage.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to lead complex negotiations and close high-value contracts with clients and partners.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter with the ability to drive business growth independently.
