Join the ePlane Company as a Business Development Manager. You will provide comprehensive assistance to our Business team and be responsible for supporting various tasks critical to our business development initiatives.
Experience Level: 5-10 yrs (highly desirable 1-2 yrs of experience in the drone industry)
Responsibilities - Responsible for all Business Development and Sales activities. - Key account management of existing customers, identifying new customers. - Technical discussions with customers, understanding their needs, suggesting suitable solutions to them. - Coordinate with the product team to provide accurate and timely solutions to customer inquiries. - Prepare Costing sheets, Prepare and Send Techno-Commercial Proposals. - Participate in Tenders and Contract Negotiations. - Coordinate with Product Team and Clients during execution of Demo, PoC, trials benchmarking our products against the competition and acquiring orders. - Preparation of techno-commercial bids, Bidding on Gem portal, Tender management, submission on time & Post-bid follow-up. - Structuring & preparing budgetary proposals by collecting inputs from multiple teams. - Adequate drone industry market knowledge is highly preferred. - Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our solutions and generate leads. - Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Required Skill Set - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with Master’s in Business or a related eld is preferred however not mandatory. - Strong understanding of sales cycles and government procurement processes. - Strong Business Acumen with analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities. - Knowledge of business modeling and commercial metrics would be a plus. - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a dynamic work environment. - Previous experience and exposure to institutional sales and UAV sales is highly desirable.
