Mission:

Drive Rocket Code’s growth in the United States by building strategic relationships, developing effective business proposals, and acquiring new clients while ensuring an exceptional customer experience tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

    • Opportunity Identification and Generation:
      • Familiarize yourself with all Rocket Code products and services to understand their value and applications.
      • Identify and acquire new clients through direct contact, referrals, and collaboration with the marketing department.
      • Attend networking events, industry conferences, and meetups in Austin to research and connect with potential clients.
    • Relationship Management:
      • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and expansion opportunities.
      • Propose improvements or additional products and services that add value and align with client needs.
    • Negotiation and Proposal Development:
      • Design and deliver tailored business proposals and contracts to attract additional revenue from clients.
      • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that are favorable to both clients and Rocket Code.
    • Internal Collaboration and Market Insight:
      • Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with Rocket Code’s capabilities and objectives.
      • Provide feedback to internal teams about market trends, competitor activities, and client requirements to influence strategy and product development.
    • Market Trends and Strategic Growth:
      • Stay up to date with market trends and consumer behavior in the US to ensure Rocket Code’s offerings remain competitive and relevant.
      • Identify new growth areas or market segments for potential expansion in the tech-heavy Austin market.
    • Client and Team Support:
      • Support clients throughout their journey with Rocket Code, ensuring seamless onboarding and continued engagement.
      • Assist in the development of junior team members, sharing best practices and insights.

Requirements

      1. Education:
        • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
      2. Work Experience:
        • 3 to 5 years of experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the technology sector or B2B services.
        • Proven ability to identify and close high-value business opportunities in the US market.
      3. Skills and Competencies:
        • Intuitive and insightful, with the ability to understand client pain points and offer tailored solutions.
        • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
        • Strong networking abilities, with experience building strategic relationships in the tech industry.
        • Professional and personable demeanor, with excellent negotiation skills.
        • Resourceful and adept at developing creative, high-impact proposals.
      4. Other Requirements:
        • Strong understanding of the US technology market, with a focus on Austin’s thriving tech ecosystem.
        • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and networking events.
        • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
